Refund Policy

Partner store subscriptions are not refundable

Shop membership is a monthly subscription. You pay it on this website through Paystack so we can list the store on the walker map and hide cash inside. Partner store subscriptions are not refundable.

That includes the first month and every month after that. If you cancel in the middle of a paid month, we do not refund the unused days. You can still cancel at any time so we do not charge you again. How to cancel is in the Cancellation Policy on this website.

What this policy covers

The only recurring fee on this website is shop membership. Packages are Essential R399, Plus R699 and Pro R999 a month per store. Enterprise is quoted. Walkers do not pay Footrand to download the app or to claim cash. Wallet payouts are money we send to walkers, not a purchase you make from us, so they are not refunds.

Wrong or duplicate charges

If you were charged twice for the same store in the same month, or charged after we confirmed your cancellation, write to support@footrand.co.za or send a message on the contact page on this website. Say the shop name, the email you paid with, and the date of the charge. We will look at the Paystack record and put right a charge that should not have been taken.

A charge that was correctly taken for an active membership is not a wrong charge, even if the shop later asks to come off the map.

How a refund is paid if one is due

If we agree a refund is due, we send it back through Paystack to the same card or EFT method that paid us, or by another lawful method if that is not possible. Timing depends on the bank. We do not refund in cash at a store.

Law and contact

South African law applies. The Consumer Protection Act applies where you use Footrand as a consumer. These pages, together with the Terms of Service and the Cancellation Policy, are the public statement of how membership fees work. Write to support@footrand.co.za.
